Hey loyal followers, and rando stoppers by,
I got a cell phone today and it has a data plan, amazing I know. This lets us do thigs like post while on the road driving... no need to worry, I am not driving currently.
we are about 472 km and 5 hours outside of New Orleans. Looks like another very long night.
Today was a wonderful driving day. We started it off by taking the Tail of the Dragon. This is a section of Highway 129 that serves as the border between Tennessee and South Carolina. As we described yesterday it has a couple of turns, It was a wonderful drive which we have on video, and will try to upload shortly.
After which we drove through South Carolina heading towards New Orleans, and the view was breathtaking. I was constantly gesticulating to Fletcher and Alex to take pictures of the scenery.
At one point we just had to stop and get out and dunk our feet into the river.
unfortunate at some point on this trip the condenser on the civic broke... oh dear no more A/C... this will be very bad in Nevada....
Currently we are being puzzled by a strange light that is shining periodically down the highway, it's very quick and bright and slightly yellow... but we have no idea what it is... potentially small explosions?
anyway with "only" 5 more hours of driving before we get to our second stop I will sign off

mmmmmm.... gesticulation
ReplyDelete(sorry, it needed to be said. i promise my next comment will have more substance).
shitty about the car! A/C is possibly the most crucial part! yes! even more crucial than the steering wheel, or the tires, or the big thing that makes it go "vroom" !!!!
:)
glad y'all'r having fun though. i cant wait to join in for vegas!
